Welcome to Yoga Mind & Body


Yoga has something to offer everyone, its ancient system of philosophy, lifestyle and techniques have the ability to evolve the whole person. It provides us with the tools to develop a healthy mind and body.

Yoga is vast in its history, applications, types, styles and can be confusing to anyone thinking of taking it up. The best thing to do is to enrol in a general Hatha Yoga class, and then explore further.

At Yoga mind and body I teach classically based Hatha Yoga. This incorporates movement (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama) and relaxation/meditation in the form of Yoga Nidra .

I have been teaching yoga for 4 years, I trained for a FRYOG diploma under a Satyananda trained tutor. This has influenced the way I teach, so the focuses of my classes are on both the physical and mental health and well being.

As well as teaching yoga I am a registered nurse working in the NHS.
